- Canon have added Alain Roger Nseme to their staff since the start of the 2023/24 season
- He will be in the dugout this afternoon against Gazelle FA
- Nseme previously worked for PWD, Unisport and got Aigle Royal of Menoua amongst others
Cameroon Elite One giants, Canon Yaounde have completed the signing of experienced Cameroonian fitness coach, Alain Roger Nseme on a one-year-deal.
The former Aigle Royal of Menoua trainer left PWD of Bamenda in March this year, after both parties settled for a split in the heart of a complex season. He has since joined Canon Yaoundé and help them win their opening two games.
Nseme has added a wealth of experience to the Canon dugout led by coach Vincent Atangana – having worked for over five Elite clubs and the Cameroon national team.
Nseme, former fitness coach of Cameroon’s U-17 national football team also managed Unisport and Dragon Yaounde at some point in his career.
A celebrated trainer, though in his mid 30s began, Nseme has always created a positive impact wherever he has worked. He is expected to complement the rest of the staff in the quest to win the club’s next Elite One title since their 10th in 2002.
Nseme who masterminded the promotion of Aigle Royal of Menoua to the top-flight championship in 2022 is part of the Canon contingent currently out in Garoua on a desperate search for their third win in three games so far.
Canon will challenge Gazelle FA this Saturday on match day three of the MTN Elite One championship at the Roumde stadium in Garoua. Kick-off of the match is scheduled at 3pm local time which will be 14GMT.
