Vincent Aboubakar marked his return to Besiktas with an outstanding effort that took the intervention of the Video Assistant Referees (VAR) to chalk off.
Aboubakar lobbed goalkeeper Runnarson and thought he had added to the one goal lead against Alanyaspor unfortunately the goal was disallowed after VAR checks proved Jackson Muleka who made the assist was in an offside position.
What about this Vincent Aboubakar's goal for Besiktas. Though it was ruled out for offside, but the quality of the lob is impeachable.

The game counted for Matchday 19 of the Turkish Super Lig and Aboubakar’s second game since his return to the Turkish club from Saudi Arabian side, Al Nassr.
Being involved in the game for 85 minutes, Aboubakar recorded three shots on target and that effort would have been his first goal upon return, a replica of that which he scored against Serbia at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Unfortunately, his goal celebration was cut short after the referee consulted the VAR and realized the goal assist provider was in an offside position.
The 31-year-old made his debut against Kayserispor last Sunday and was giving a chance at the 70th minute.
The Indomitable Lion of Cameroon’s captain returned to Istanbul on 21 January 2023 on a two and a half year deal, having plied his trade at the club in 2016 and 2020/21 on loan from Porto.
Besiktas have moved to the third position on the classification table after the 3-0 win this Friday, January 27.
