Vincent Aboubakar is reportedly seeking a €4 million fee to facilitate his departure from Besiktas, kick442.com can report.

The 31-year-old forward, who recently returned to Besiktas after a stint at Al Nassr, is among a group of players who have been dropped by the club’s new manager, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst.

The captain of the Cameroon national team, has already rejected lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and Wydad Casablanca.

However, he is only considering leaving Besiktas if his demands are met. According to reports from Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Aboubakar has requested to receive his full salary for the remaining year of his contract, which runs until June 30, 2025, before departing the club

The €4 million fee Aboubakar is seeking poses a significant challenge for Besiktas, who are eager to offload the striker as part of their squad revamp.

New Besiktas president Hasan Arat has made it clear that the club’s priority is to build a better team.
