Former Astres of Douala head coach Charlemagne Mbongo, on duty with Unisport of Bafang was on Sunday, December 25,2022 sacked from his duty of head coach , following the club’s poor performance.
Mbongo’s unexpected departure, was triggered by a 1-1 draw game between Unisport of Bafang and Rangers.
Unisport occupies the 8th spot, on the 15 teams Elite Two classification table.With two victories, two draws and one defeat.
He had penned a one year deal with the Bafang side, on September 10,2022, with the aim of taking the Elite Two side to Elite One. Mbongo took over from Constantin Bep.
The football tactician holds a huge experience,with a good number of elite clubs, to the likes of ; Colombe du Sud, Bambotous FC,Aigle Royal of Menoua.
