U20 Lionesses Ramp Up Their Preparations for 2024 FIFA U20 World Cup Debut

The contingent of players playing abraod joined the U20 Lionesses on August 21st in Bogota, Colombia, ahead of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup. This came after a hectic training session that kept the team busy all of Tuesday.

The U20 Lionesses are now preparing for their upcoming friendly match against Venezuela in the days ahead. This is likely not their first match in the lead-up to the tournament, as they previously took on a training session focused on quick attacking play at the LaLiga Academy training center in Bogota.

The team is currently staying at the Morrison Hotel as they prepare for a training jog. They started their day with gym exercises focused on general body building, before moving to the University of El Rosario stadium to work on maximum power training.

The match against Venezuela is set to take place on August 23rd. It should be noted that this will be the U20 Lionesses’ first appearance at the FIFA U20 Women’s World cup .

The team has had several training sessions leading up to the tournament, practicing different tactics and strategies, including a session on August 19th.

Unafraid, the U20 Lionesses will play their first match of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup against Mexico on August 31st.
