TotalEnergies African Nations Championship top scorer Oussama Lamlioui and coach Tarik Sektioui led the Atlas Lions team in crediting King Mohammed VI as the driving force behind Morocco’s third CHAN trophy.

“We’ve managed to make the Moroccan population happy, and we dedicate this trophy to His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” said Oussama Lamlioui, the Golden Boot winner with six goals.

Coach Tarik Sektioui also dedicated the trophy to King Mohammed VI, who has been a motivating factor, upon Morocco’s return to the competition after missing the 2022 edition.
