Tengah Kingsley has agreed to stay at Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA), becoming one of the highest-paid players after signing a new contract that will keep him at the Limbe based club until the summer of 2025.
The sweeper, who was the subject of several interests from Canon Yaounde, Victoria United FC and a number of Elite clubs following his exploits during the 2023 national Interpools, has extended his stay by two years.
Canon Yaounde envoys had held talks with ISOHSA management about signing the defender but didn’t follow that up with a significant offer.
ISOHSA management expressed it’s delight about the players decision to stay, while appreciating what he brings to the team.

“Tebug Kingsley Tengah signs a new two-year contract with our club. The defender commits his future to our project after playing a major role in the team’s qualification to Elite Two,” A club announcement this Friday revealed.
Kingsley becomes the third signing since the club secured promotion last month. He follows the likes of Eben Tomi and Akono Mendo David who have all committed to the project.
Reacting after completing medical and other formalities for the deal, the former Victoria United FC sweeper said it was an obvious decision.
“ISOHSA is my home. The vision and project of the club is excellent” the defender spoke shortly after signing his new deal,” he told the club’s Media team after the decision.

“Kingsley is a defender par excellence. We made it a priority that he stays. For he is key in our back line. Equally repositioning everyone when we are defending makes him our leader. We are delighted he is staying,” John Tita, the club’s Secretary General stated.
The experienced defender featured in 27 of the club’s 29 matches last season, helping the club to the unprecedented feats of the Southwest Regional League and National Interpools champions, alongside the brilliant run to the 16th final of the 2023 Cup of Cameroon.
He will meet his new mates when pre-season begins later this month.
