  • Talikong Elwood Bantar and Ngai Eba Emile are products of Kamjo Sports Academy and Njalla Quan Sports Academy
  • Both players have joined ISOHSA of Limbe on two-year contracts each for an undisclosed fee
  • The club has set up a scheme for the players development which could cost over three millions FCFA in the next two years during which they will be seeking opportunities abroad

Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe shore up their frontline by completing the switch of Talikong Elwood Bantar from Kamjo Sports Academy of Buea and Ngai Eba Emile from Djiko FC of Bandjoun on two years contracts each.

We understand the completed the acquisition of two promising talents over the weekend, with Ellwood’s arrival already announced after completion of talks with the top management of his previous club while Ngai’s unveiling is pending clearance from Djiko FC of Bandjoun and Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe that groomed the player for five years.

Per our findings, Elwood is one of the players scouted and wishlisted by coach Mbock Maput during the different holidays football tournament while Ngai finally joins the club after they missed out of securing his service to follow coach Teteh Edwin to ISOHSA.

16-year-old Elwood and Ngai who is three years older are both considered among the best young players in Southwest these days. They will be joining ISOHSA noted for developing talents ahead of the new season.

A move that was in the making

Upon coach Mbock’s recommendation, the club has been tracking the progress of both players for some time, and their potential has clearly impressed the ISOHSA scouting team.

Ngai, a left-footed attacking midfielder, is renowned for his creativity and goal-scoring ability. His performances for Njalla Quan Sports Academy two seasons ago was nothing short of exceptional and he kept that standard last season at Djiko FC.

Elwood, on the other hand, is a more goal-minded forward with a strong physical presence, excellent ball control and exceptional shoting ability.

His ability to dictate the tempo of play and operate in various positions in the forward of the park makes him an ideal fit for the ISOHSA style. His presence in the club setup could be massive especially with the possible departures this window.

While the financial details of the transfers have not been disclosed, it’s clear that ISOHSA are continuing to rely on youths to provide future stars for the team.

Both players, after all, have shown immense promise and have the ability to make an impact in the first team in the years to come.

It will now be interesting to see how these two players develop under the leadership of Mbock Maput and Teteh Edwin next season.

The club already announced the signing of Sawai Kelly from Tiko United FC and Che Randy from Canon Yaoundé as they build up to resumption scheduled for sometime next week.
