The city of Douala is gearing up for one of its biggest sporting weekends of the year as Spiro officially announces its sponsorship of the 8th edition of the Douala International Marathon, set for 29–30 November 2025.
Under the theme “The Marathon at the Heart of Communities,” this year’s event will welcome more than 3,000 runners from Cameroon and beyond, reaffirming its status as a flagship race on the national sporting calendar. The marathon continues to grow in stature with each edition, promoting excellence, international-standard organisation and community wellbeing.

As part of its sponsorship, Spiro will host a special exhibition showcasing its innovative electric bikes, giving athletes, fans, and visitors a closer look at its expanding line of clean mobility solutions.
