President Roger Minala Noah of AS Fortuna of Mfou has shockingly died at the age of 56, family sources have confirmed.

The founder and vision bearer of the AS Fortuna of Mfou project that had clubs in the top-flight of Cameroon’s men and women’s football last season died in the evening of Tuesday, September 3 after a brief illness.

Roger Noah, a passionate football manager who moulded the likes of Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa, Leonel Ateba Christian Mbida, Leonel Abate, John Mary, Thierry Akono amongst others has left the football family in shock and contestation about his departure this early.

His players and other stakeholders expressed disbelief when news of his demise first filtered at about 9pm in the evening, but later accepted fate and penned touching words about the life of the man who had football as an opiom.

“Your love for the game was evident in everything you did. You brought energy, joy, and a competitive spirit that made every match and event special. You legacy will live on in the passion you ignited in others.RIP Brother,” President Pascal Abunde of PWD of Bamenda and ACEC wrote on X.

The demise firebrand football administrator noted for following his clubs during matches across the country has created a huge void in the Cameroon football family.

Noah who presided over his club’s general assembly in prelude for the coming season less than a month ago leaves friends, family and the entire Cameroon football to mourn him.
