Officials of PSG Women’s team are in negotiations for the signature of exciting Cameroonian forward, Naomi Eto Ndjoah Leslie from Guinness Super League side Amazone FAP of Yaoundé.
According to information kick442.com gathered from Taniere de Lion, officials of the French capital outfit have been talking transfer fees and personal terms with the player and his parent club for weeks now after they earmarked her as a target following her FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup showing that earned one most valuable player award in the tournament she skippered and stirred Cameroon to the quarter-final.
Reports now have it that Eto who didn’t feature in FAP’s 2-0 win against Vision Filles over the weekend is close to agreeing terms with PSG ladies.
If the move goes through, the 19-year-old nominee for the 2024 CAF young player of the year would have her first experience playing abroad, having spent all her career in Cameroon, winning the best young player award in the Guinness Super League in 2022.
A move for the player to France will add Eto, scorer over 30 goals in four seasons for FAP to the long list of Cameroonians plying her trade in France’s women’s top-flight championship in France.
PSG are participating in the women’s UEFA Champions League this season but timid, thus explaining their move to strengthen their squad.
