Newly-promoted MTN Elite Two championship franchise, Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe have announced their first-ever idea and fundraiser event slated for Friday, October 27 in Limbe.
The club’s management led by CEO Karl Njomo Mokake confirmed the development on Thursday via a release sent to public and private institution in a bit to assemble the best resources before the start of the new season.
A Communiqué from the club to a number of institutions across the nation signaled it was a continuation of a process the Prime Minister abd Head of Government Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute had initiated during the 2023 national interpools as part of efforts to make the club more people inclusive and oriented.
A release issued by the on October 18, upon clearance from Mayor Paul Efume of the Limbe City Council confirmed it was an all-inclusive get together for the people of Limbe and Southwest by Southwest Region by extension.

Created some eight years ago, with the intention of giving a second chance to underprivileged young persons lacking the financial well without to enroll in the prestigious football academies across the country, ISOHSA is aimed at giving a career to the next generation of footballers through its meticulous approach.
The youth-oriented football institution that prided the youngest squad at the 2023 national interpools with an average age of 18 years and four months, but managed to emerge champions, synamous to qualification to the national second division championship.
Next Friday’s congress is opened for contribution of resources and inputs to enhance a smooth upcoming season in the 16-clubs abridged second tier championship whose graduates will be in the pinnacle of Cameroon football in the wake of the 2024/25 season.
Friday’s event at the historic at the Limbe City Council Hall is expected to be graced by state officials, traditional authorities, Elites of the region, club presidents, sponsors, foreign partners, fans as well as legends of the game.

During the club’s routine general assembly last month, its management adopted the minimum earning of 75000 FCFA per employee and set a budget of 100 Millions FCFA for the coming season while tasking the technical crew to recommend and help assemble the best players to ensure they secure Elite One status on or before it’s tenth anniversary in 2025.
ISOHSA officials have repeatedly emphasized they will go into the 2023/24 MTN Elite Two season as beginners willing to learn from the already established clubs while hoping to borrow a leaf from more experienced persons within and without the region in the aspect of a long life and prosperity in Elite football.
As part of its region-oriented policy, ‘The people’s Royal Elephant’ as the club is nicknamed has opted to play its home matches this season in Limbe and Buea.
The new season gets underway next week, but before then the draw to pair the 16 clubs in the second tier championship will be made this Friday, October 20.
