The Homologation and Disciplinary Commission of the Cameroon football federation, FECAFOOT, has taken several hammered decisions concerning the 2025 Super Cup match between Colombe Sportive of the Dja and Lobo and Panthère of Nde in Yaoundé on February 26, 2026.

The game saw a primature end after Colombe’s refusal to continue following a disputed penalty against them. Their actions have attracted serious consequences with several actors set to suffer for it.

The committee have announced the sanctions in a communique dated March 04, 2026, ruling that Colombe is found guilty of forfeiting the game and declaring Panthere Champions.

For abandoning the game, FECAFOOT has slammed Colombe a fine of thirty million francs (30,000,000) CFA;

The 2025 cameroon league champions have been banned from participating in the 2026 edition of the Cup of Cameroon.

For primarily causing the abrupt end of the game by taking his players off the pitch which eventually disrupted the game and brought it into disrepute, Head coach of Colombe TOWA Richard, has been suspended for a period of six (06) months and ordered the pay the sum of 5 million fcfa.

The team’s Administrative council president Mr. EDJIANE DOKO Alain Mathieu, has equally been suspended for a period of one (01) incompressible year.

Eleven players of Colombe including its club captains Ntuwe Randy Kwalar, Hamidou Hamza, Goalkeeper Edouard SOMBANG, Gide Marcel DJIALEU, Luc BIDE, Cedric Landry DJOMO, Jean EYANGA Priso, EDZIMBII Patrick, David Junior MBAZO’O, Michel MBELECK BIYIHA and BEYEBANE LIMA Steeve, are all expected to miss two matches following a suspension.

The regrettable incidents which involved the players and coaches left a bad image on Cameroon football especially for a game of that magnitude, moreso, before several high profile stakeholders.

Colombe however, has the opportunity to appeal these decisions especially the fine received considered by many pundits to be exorbitant and been asked of a club that claims the Federation still owes them prize money for the League and cup titles won last season.
