The head coach of Cameroon’s senior men’s national team, Rigobert Song named the list of final 27-man roster for the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana is among four save hands that will represent the Central Africa side at the tournament.
Other goalies include Devis Epassy, Simon Mgapandouetnbu, and Fabrice Ondoa.
Last AFCON’s top goal scorer, Vincent Aboubakar will lead the attack line alongside Napoli star, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa.
Other notable names in the squad include Oliver Tcham, Clinton Njie, and Karl Toko Ekambi.
A notable absentee from the squad is Eric Choupo Moting.
Cameroon will face holders, Senegal, Guinea, and Gambia in Group C.
The team will hope to improve on the last tournament’s third-place finish.
Ivory Coast is the stage for the next AFCON with Song’s side one of the contenders for the title.
