NWRFL 2022/2023: Draws conducted, All you need to know

Draws for the 2022/2023 football season of the North West Regional League has been successful conducted. The draws were done this Tuesday February 14, 2023 at the Regional FECAFOOT Secretariat in Bamenda.

This season’s NWRL saw the promotion of 11 teams from the various divisional leagues played during the 2021/2022 football season. Which includes All Stars FC, Benakuma FC, Donga United, Family Worriors, Grace of Hope, Moghamo FC, Ngoketunjia FC, Nso United, Rockland FC Belo, St. Brice FC and Tubah United.

32 teams were drawn into four pools of eight teams per pool, battling for a lone ticket to the national Interpools and eventually and Elite two ticket. Each pool contains both old and newly promoted clubs.

Hilltop Strikers will launch the league against FC Bamenda at the University of Bambili Stadium. The league is envisaged to run for about four months, possibly to begin on February 18 or 25, 2023.

The first two teams per pool qualifies for the Mini interpools which will have Pool A against pool C and pool D against pool B.

During this year’s NWRFL, stadia such as The University of Bamenda Stadium, GS Nibung, PS Bujong, CS Futru and others will be used.
