Goals from Misturat Yusuf, Esther Onyenezide, and Rukayat Shobowale lifted FC Robo Queens to a 3-0 win over Adamawa Queens in match week seven of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership on Wednesday in Lagos.

The win was the Lagos Landladies’ first at home this season after earning a 3-2 away win over Ibom Angels.

In Yenegoa, Delta Queens ended holders, Bayelsa Queens’ unbeaten run with a 2-1 win away from home.

Chioma Moses scored the winning goal as Confluence Queens pipped Ibom Angels 1-0 in Uyo.

Nasarawa Amazons edged Abia Angels 2-1 with goals from Ojiyovwi Kesiena and Abigail Sunday canceling Nkechi Agams’ opener.

Goals from Mary Lucky and Chizoba Orji ensured a 2-0 win for Heartland Queens against Osun Babes.

Royal Queens and Rivers Angels played out a 0-0 draw in Sapele.

The league will go on a mid-season break and will resume the second stanza of the league next month.
