Two-time Ghana Premier League holders, Great Olympics have claimed that no club in the top flight can rival them in terms of prompt payment of monthly salaries.
There were rumours that the “Dade Boys” owe players a backlog of salaries leading to their current poor performance.
The club has since denied those reports, describing it as false.
Spokesperson of the club, Saint Osei told Accra based Radio Gold that, Great Olympics is one of the clubs that pays players promptly.
“The big clubs in Ghana can never rub shoulders with Great Olympics in terms of payment.
“I want one player to come out and say that we owe him that is why we are surprised.
“Because anything that is supposed to be done in football we have done it.
“It is now left with the playing body to execute, period.” St. Osei told Radio Gold Sports.
Great Olympics are 17th on the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League table and will next host bottom club, Kotoku Royals.
