FC Ebolowa started their UNIFFAC tournament in the best possible way, winning 2-0 against the Congolese team M’Sichana de la RDC
On the pitch of the Estadio de Malabo in Equatorial Guinea, the Cameroonian side delivered a strong performance in their first match of the competition.
Superb Goals and Effective Teamwork
Just two minutes into the game, FC Ebolowa set the tone. The first goal was a product of Ornella Beulou’s individual talent. The midfielder gave FC Ebolowa the lead with a direct free kick, a masterful strike that gave the opposing goalkeeper no chance.
The second goal, scored at the very beginning of the second half, was a prime example of effective teamwork, showcasing the perfect understanding between the players. A beautiful combination involving Nnanga, Kameni, and Mekuko unsettled the M’Sichana defense. The ball was perfectly slipped in behind the defense to Nnanga, who brilliantly finished the action.
The “Be Ngon Yâ Ebolowo’o” Ready for the Next Challenge
This 2-0 victory sends a strong message to the other teams in the tournament. It highlights the determination and quality of FC Ebolowa, who begin the competition with three valuable points. The players from the club in southern Cameroon managed their match well, with a solid defense that allowed nothing through.
Although the Congolese players tried to test the opposing defense, captain and goalkeeper Christmilienne Onomo Etaba kept her goal unblemished.
The tournament schedule continues, and the next match for FC Ebolowa, nicknamed the “Be Ngon Yâ Ebolowo’o,” is already on the horizon. They will face the Chadian team TP ELECT-SPORT on September 20, 2025. This promises to be an intense encounter, but FC Ebolowa will approach it with the momentum of this promising first victory.
