- Coach Njoku Barnabas and Kengo Raymond have agreed to coach Elecsport

- Elecsport emerge champions of Fako to seal a return to the Regional championship after close to 20 years
- Njoku joins from Bamboutos FC while Kalla walks in from Tiko United FC
Coach Njoku Barnabas has agreed terms to become the new head coach of ambitious Southwest Regional championship side, Elecsport of Limbe, barely days after he departed Bamboutos FC of Mbouda.
According grapevine sources, the Limbe based club has agreed a two-year contract with the former Victoria United and Buea United FC coach to guide them on their return to the Southwest Regional championship.
Coach Bana as he is popularly known will be assisted by Kengo Raymond who has opted to step down after two years at the helm of Tiko United FC.
Elecsport is expected to make the announcement in the days ahead, but in the meantime coach Bana has been charged to begin recruitment for the 2023 Fako Divisional League champions.
Coach Kengo and Bana will form the duo expected to lead Elecsport’s charge towards the peak again after a number of years in the doldrums.
The 2024 Southwest Regional championship of 32 clubs from four divisions is expected to begin sometime next year.
Champions of the competition represent the region at the annual national interpools to determine the clubs to graduate to the second tier.
In the past two seasons, Victoria United FC and Isle of Hope Sports Academy represented the region in style and returned home with an Elite ticket as vice champions and champions respectively.
Coach Bana,winner of the 2022 Cameroon Super Cup with Bamboutos FC, and his new team will also compete in the Cup of Cameroon like he did in his days at Bamboutos FC and Djiku FC of Bandjoun.
