Cameroonian winger Jerome Ngom Mbekeli, has joined Belgian second tier side SK Beveren, the club has announced.
The Club announced on Tuesday evening that they have completed the signing of the 24-year-old winger.
Kick442.com understands that Ngom has penned a one and a half year deal with SK Beveren, with an option to extend.
Jerome Ngom Mbekeli has been one of Cameroon’s exciting forwards in recent times. He provided the assist for Vincent Aboubakar’s goal against Brazil at the 2022 FIFA World cup in Qatar, and was one of the stars for the intermediate lions despite their early exit from the 2022 African Nations championship in Algeria.
Ngom netted Cameroon’s goal in their 1-0 win over Congo Brazzaville in their group E game at CHAN 2022.
The forward who can also play at right back, is returning to Europe after previous stints with MFK Vyškov in the Czech republic, Sporting Kansas City II and San Diego Loyal SC in the United States.
He now puts an end to his two years stay at Colombe Sportive of the Dja and Lobo.
SK Beveren current sits second on the Belgian second Division league table.
