Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe completed the capture of prodigy Neba Prosper and Tabe Melvin in the final moments of the first 2023/24 transfer window.
Midfielder Prosper and goalkeeper Tabe moved to the People’s Royal Elephants on two-year and one-year contracts respectively after agreeing terms with the management of the club.
Neba’s switch ends a four-year stint on the books of Legends FA while Malvin who joined the club two years ago will continue his career in the seaside resort city two years after his first failed move to the club.
Neba Prosper will replace Micheal Wirikom who has joined YOSA of Bamenda while Tabe is one of two goalkeepers brought in to replace departed Abianda Michel and Frank Ipoua Dylan who joined PWD of Bamenda and Canon Yaoundé respectively.
The club has completed formalities for the transfer of the incoming players and they are expected to join coach Mbock Maput Joseph in training on Tuesday at the Limbe Community Field as the club prepares for the new season in the Elite Two championship.
Everything being equal, the club could announce their arrival one of these days following the closure of the transfer window.
ISOHSA are preparing for their second season in the MTN Elite Two championship having raised the bar very high in their debut campaign with a top of the table finish in the relegation playoffs and reached the semi-final of the cup of Cameroon.
The 2023 national interpools champions will participate in the 17 clubs MTN Elite Two championship expected to begin in late October or early November 2024.
