  • The win is Dynamo’s second of the season but they remain second behind Zenit St Petersburg that counts six points too
  • Dynamo will face Spartak Moscow on match day three of the Russian Premier League

For the second weekend running Nicolas Brice Moumi Ngamaleu was amongst the scorers as his club Dynamo Moscow outshine Locomotive Moscow by 3-1 at the VTB Arena to maintain their great start to the season.

Ngamaleu’s goal for Marcel Licka’s men was complemented by two others from Lucka Gagnidze and Milan Majstorovic while Dimitri Vorobyov scored the lone goal for the visitors from the other side of the capital city.

Fresh from a 3-1 win in their previous outing, Dynamo Moscow began the game in full confidence and on the front foot, hoping to hurt their visitors as early as possible.

Their early domination was rewarded even before Locomotiva could settle into the game as Lucka Gagnidze put the hosts ahead 12 minutes into the contest.

The goal was a wake up call for Locomotiva as they reacted by being more offensive in an attempt to even matters.

Russian Forward Vorobyov scored the equaliser six minutes before the break to ensure both clubs retired for the pause on a 1-1 and leaving both set of fans on the edge of their seats ahead of the second segment.

Upon resumption, Dynamo Moscow quickly restored order via Milan Majstorovic who scored the second for Dynamo just under the hour mark.

Ngamaleu then sealed the win with another goal in the dying moments of the game that killed the Locomotiva momentum and ensured Dynamo Moscow maintain their interesting momentum.

Ngamaleu lasted full throttle for the second weekend running and scored a second goal in two outings for the defending champions.

Dynamo remain second in the Russian Premier League with six points from a possible six, but an interior goal difference to leaders Zenit St Petersburg.

The club will be on the road to Spartak Moscow on Wednesday in match day three of the Russian top-flight championship.
