The 58-year-old whose last job as Mauritania’s U20 coach ended in April will now be tasked with keeping the One People, One Power (OPOPO) in the MTN Elite One championship come the end of the 2022/23 season.
Five-time winner of the Mauritania top-flight championship with FC Nouadhibou, Njoya arrives his first Cameroon top job with a respectable billing which will certainly make expectations high.
The Cameroon National Institute of Youths and Sports (INJS) graduate will replace Leopold Feutat who parted company with president Joseph Feutcheu’s side in the build up to their weekend draw against Colombe Dja in match day 16.
Njoya has signed a deal till the end of the season plus an option for a full season deal if he keeps the club afloat this term.
More to come…
