Launch of 2023 Sport Season: ANAFOOT gift 100 conscripts

Enow Ngachu, the General Manager of the Cameroon National Football Academy (ANAFOOT) have been gifted back-to-school materials to the best one hundred conscripts of the institution. The maiden edition of the institutional gesture happened on September 30th, at the Bamendzi Stadium in Bafoussam.

Conscripts from nine regional poles of the institution received a variety of school needs from GM Enow as part of ANAFOOT’s to achieve it’s study and play goal.

Hundred of pens, exercise books, school bags and uniforms were handed to beneficiaries based on the results produced in end of course examinations for last academic year.

The items donated were mostly offered by ANAFOOT lead partner, Orange Cameroon, whose envoys graced the event.

This move will go a long way to impact the Academic and career life of it’s benefactors.

Last Academic year, ANAFOOT recorded 95% , success, in terms of academic results, produced by her devoted and assiduous conscripts.

The Bafoussam ceremony is part of the activities, marking the official launch of the 2023 season for ANAFOOT.

The official kick-off of the activities, marking the return on the pitch of the more than 2,000 trainees, to take place in the nine other regional poles simultaneously.

Speaking, to the press Enow Ngachu, General Manager of the National Football Academy said;

“Last year, we were in the East region, the choice of the West region is based on the outstanding academic and sport performance of our conscripts from this pole”.

“The message we are passing to the parents is that, they should have confidence in ANAFOOT. We are there to train their kids and to make them believe in what they wish to become in future”.

“And to make them understand that, there is a career after football, reason we have a service in charge of football related professions at ANAFOOT. In the upcoming weeks, we shall organize a training seminar for video analyst.

“We realize most of our clubs and National Selections are always in difficulties, whenever playing against clubs and national football teams from other countries.This is because of the absence of a high-technological know-how. During the workshop, we shall train our coaches,technicians and journalists on its usage,” He added.

Saturday’s ceremony, gave the public the opportunity to have an idea of some technical demonstration,on key football technics like ; Ball control, dribbling skills, passing accuracy, body Control and Spatial awareness.Thanks to the young talented ANAFOOT players.

“We are equally glad to inform the public that, 35 young ANAFOOT players, will ply their trade for the new season, in our Elite Championship. And 200 will participate in the regional leagues”.

“Like l earlier mentioned, our aimed is to train not only sports men and women. But build morally upright and conscious people, who will be able to easily integrated into the society, “Enow Ngachu ended.

The ceremony, was graced by the massive turn out of parents, football stakeholders and die-heart of the West Region.And of course saw the presence of the West Regional Delegate for Sports and Physical Education, Jean Claude Kammongne,personal representative of the Minister of Sports and physical Education.
