Kylian Mbappé, star forward of Real Madrid CF, has once again demonstrated his commitment to social impact after financing the renovation of Ecole Publique Bonendale, giving the public primary school a completely new and modern look.
The school in Bonendale, located in Douala, has been transformed into a more conducive learning environment following extensive renovation works funded by the French international. The project upgraded several parts of the institution, improving the facilities used daily by both students and teachers.
The renovation has given the school a fresh, ultramodern appearance, with improved classrooms and learning spaces designed to create a better academic atmosphere for pupils. The transformation is expected to positively impact hundreds of young learners who attend the public institution.
Mbappé’s gesture reflects his continued connection with Cameroon. Although born in France, the football superstar has strong roots in the country through his father, who hails from Jebale. This family link has often inspired the player to support communities in Cameroon through charitable and development initiatives.
Beyond his achievements on the pitch, Mbappé has increasingly used his influence to support education and youth development. By investing in the renovation of Ecole Publique Bonendale, the World Cup winner is helping to improve access to quality learning conditions while strengthening ties between the global football icon and his ancestral homeland.
