- Nji Kalvin Ketu has completed a transfer to Greece football
- The former Best Stars Academy winger has joined Asteras Aktor
- He was Kunde Malong’s mate at Best Stars Academy and moved to Spain alongside the former Mainz and Olympiakos man
Former Best Stars Academy of Limbe forward Nji Kalvin Ketu has signed for Greek second tier championship side, Asteras Aktor on a one-year contract with an option for an additional year, kick442.com has learned.
The 27-year-old Cameroon international joined the club this month as a free agent, months after his departure from Hércules CF.
The move to Greece provides a completely fresh perspective for the winger who spent the past ten eight years on the books of seven Spanish clubs in the interior divisions, having moved to Spain from Best Stars Academy of Limbe in 2016.
Asteras Aktor manifested interest in Ketu after watching videos of his games before getting him over to join them and improve their quality upfront.
Ketu joins Asteras as a free agent and will start life in their feeder team before getting a chance in the first team on merit.
The technically gifted winger who was tipped to achieve greatness many years ago but never blossom could take advantage of this late chance to shine and restore his career.
Ketu, who counts one cap for Cameroon, against Tunisia in March 2017 and made multiple appearances for the age category national teams will be hoping to rejuvenate his career and maybe get another chance to represent his country.
