Jérôme Ngom Mbekeli delivered an assist for Meizhou Hakka in their 2-1 victory against Henan Songshan Longmen on matchday 2 of the Chinese premier League at the Wuhua Olympic stadium in Meizhou city.
The Cameroonian international joined Meizhou Hakka on the 17th February 2025, where he currently wears the jersey number 8.
However, his performance at the 2022 World Cup, where he provided an assist against Brazil, helping Cameroon secure a 1-0 win, was a key factor in his signing with the club. Meizhou Hakka currently sits 4th in the Chinese Premier League, while Henan Songshan Longmen holds the 12th position.
