Ambitious Southwest outfit Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) of Limbe will face AS PSI of Chad this Tuesday, November 21 in an exciting friendly game at the Limbe Centenary stadium.
The second tier Cameroonian club will test its strength against the Chadian side that outclassed all its rivals to win their domestic championship last season.
Per kick442.com sources, AS PSI under the guidance of Murum Divine’s Africa Sports Management will arrive in Limbe early in the week ahead of the game dubbed “Finale du Tournoi de la Paix” which is scheduled for 3:30pm on Tuesday.
The highly-awaited meeting will mark the first time both clubs are meeting and the first international match in the history of ISOHSA.
AS PSI is using the occasion to prepare for next season’s CAF Champions League preliminaries having earned qualification for the competition by winning their domestic championship ahead of the likes of Elec Sport, Fullah Edifice, AS Coton and co.
The AS PSI delegation that has been in Cameroon since November 12 for pre-season is expected to fly back home on Wednesday morning to continue their pre-season ahead of the new domestic campaign.
ISOHSA on their part will use the game as preparatory aid for their weekend fixture against AS FAP on match day seven of the 2023/24 MTN Elite Two championship.
ISOHSA currently occupies the third spot in Pool B of the MTN Elite Two championship, having won three, lost two and played a draw in their opening six games in the second tier of Cameroon football.
