- Krimi FC is said to be participating in the national interpools for the second time, with a vision of succeeding this year’s interpools
Former Cotonsport of Garoua coach, Haman Gabriel has donated training equipment to Krimi FC to assist their preparations for the upcoming national interpools competition.
The Garoua native donated balls, cones, bips and other materials to the North Regional League of FECAFOOT champions last Monday, June 22.
The timely donations will provide the needed resources for the club as they hope to better their interpools adventure after the 2023 failure.
Beyond the material support, Gabriel is also actively involved in monitoring Krimi FC’s training sessions and providing technical guidance and theoretical support to help the team secure an elite two ticket for the competition.
The two weeks competition expected to take place from 1st to the 15th of August 2024 to determine the two clubs to be promoted to the MTN Elite Two championship.
Gabriel, who guided Cotonsport to their 17th league title and 2022/2023 Cameroon Cup triumph is expected to add value as he offers his expertise to Krimi FC.
Krimi FC are making their second appearance in the national interpools, representing the Northern region. In their previous outing, they registered a 2-0 victory over Ngaoundere FC before suffering a narrow 1-2 defeat to Littoral region’s representative, Pouma FC. Despite this setback, the team’s impressive record in the regional championship this year suggests they have the potential to succeed this time around.
They will be competing in the same group as Buea United FC, Atlantic of Kribi, Girondins FC of Ngaoundere and Volcan of Noun.
