{"id":980,"date":"2022-12-17T15:41:32","date_gmt":"2022-12-17T15:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=980"},"modified":"2022-12-17T15:41:32","modified_gmt":"2022-12-17T15:41:32","slug":"official-african-nation-to-host-2025-fifa-beach-soccer-world-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/official-african-nation-to-host-2025-fifa-beach-soccer-world-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Official: African Nation to host 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the very first time in history, Africa will be privileged to host the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Seychelles won the bid to host and so has been given the hosting rights of the tournament scheduled for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>This was confirmed by FIFA president, Gianni Infantino during Fifa\u2019s latest council meeting in Doha, Qatar ahead of the third place match and World Cup final between Argentina and France to be played on Sunday, December 18.<\/p>\n<p>The East African Nation known to have numerous beaches, will host the 13th edition of the tournament. Meanwhile the United Arab Emirates will host the 12th edition next year.<\/p>\n<p>These two nations beat Bahrain in the bid to host as all three were involved in the bidding process since October 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The last edition of the tournament was staged in Moscow, Russia who grabbed their third beach Soccer World Cup trophy on home soil after beating Japan 5-2 in the final.<\/p>\n<p>This will be Seychelles\u2019 biggest tournament on home soil since they successfully hosted the Cosafa and CAF Beach Soccer Cup of Nations competitions in 2015, a tournament won by Madagascar.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will see sixteen teams in actions including the host who automatically gain qualification as host.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright\u00a9\ufe0f2022 kick442.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
