A goals galore at Azam complex with relentless Uganda baptising Burundi in a must win encounter.<\/p>\n
Agness Nabukenya opened the scoring 5 minutes into the game to give Uganda an early lead.<\/p>\n
Later half an hour played , forward Kamiyat netted her first goal of the campaign to extend the lead.<\/p>\n
The first stanza ended 2-0 in favour of Uganda.<\/p>\n

Twelve seconds into the second stanza , Kamiyat added another to make it a brace.<\/p>\n
Goals continued to rain with strikes from Phionah Nabulime , Allen Nassazi and Shamusa who also had a brace on the evening.<\/p>\n
Burundi had an opportunity to reduce the deficit but Rukiya Bizimana put the penalty wide as Uganda are yet to concede a goal.<\/p>\n
The win saw Ayub’s side reclaim the top spot ahead of Hosts Tanzania with a better goal difference.<\/p>\n
Uganda play Tanzania in the final game with all teams tied on 9 points.<\/p>\n
The championship in a round robin format as the team with most points at the end will emerge winners of the inaugural edition.<\/p>\n
