{"id":9479,"date":"2023-07-23T07:59:29","date_gmt":"2023-07-23T07:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=9479"},"modified":"2023-07-23T07:59:29","modified_gmt":"2023-07-23T07:59:29","slug":"bamboutos-fc-omitted-from-caf-cc-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/bamboutos-fc-omitted-from-caf-cc-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Bamboutos FC omitted from CAF CC list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Current Cameroon Super cup winners and runners up of the Cameroon Elite One championship, Bamboutos of Mbouda has been omitted from the list of clubs to take part in the 2023\/2024 CAF confederations cup.<\/p>\n<p>The defeated finalists of last year Cameroon Cup who has been preparing to play the competition, has been left out of the competition.<\/p>\n<p>In a list published by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, comprising of 52 clubs and titled &#8220;Engaged teams in CC 2023\/2024&#8221;, Bamboutos of Mbouda is not part of the list and there&#8217;s no other Cameroon club on the list.<\/p>\n<p>If the list happens to be the final list, then Cameroon will not have a representative in the CAF Confederations cup for the 2023\/2024 football season.<\/p>\n<p>The Mbouda based club that is on the verge of signing Ghanian coach Asare Bediako for the next season.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Bamboutos of Mbouda failed to acquire the CAF License after the commission judged that the club is still owing salaries of players and staff. The club also failed to meet other procedures put in place by CAF.<\/p>\n<p>CAF Executive committee adopted on December 10th 2020 a new regulatory framework for CAF club licensing system and stadiums. However, due to the impact of the covid-19 pandemic at the time, the roll out of the new regulations was postponed and finally came into force on July 1, 2022.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Copyright 2023\u00a9kick442.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All rights reserved.
