Olympique FC of Biwong Bane, OBB, from the South region of the country has defeated Krimi FC of Garoua by two goals to zero to pick up their first three points of the ongoing national interpools in Yaounde.<\/p>\n

Played at the Annex A of the Olembe stadium, Achile Meyomesse scored a brace to secure all three points for his team.<\/p>\n

Match Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bertin Boby Mouelle with the first strike of the match in the opening minutes of the match but his shot was inches off target.<\/p>\n

At the 13th minute of play, Sylvain Borel Tousse of Olympique Biwong Bane found the on rushing Achile Meyomesse who pounced on the through ball to beat goalkeeper Maupas Atokari.<\/p>\n

The goal reawakened Krimi FC who started controlling possession in the midfield with Bangura Bainous winning most of the duels and second balls in the midfield.<\/p>\n

However, they failed to have any real chance at goal.<\/p>\n

In the second half Krimi FC continued dominating, forcing Olympique Biwong Bane to defend.<\/p>\n

Substitute Ben Hamdallah Moubarak had the first shot on target for Krimi FC few minutes into the half but goalkeeper Teddy Obam Mbengono made the save.<\/p>\n

After more than a quarter gone into the second half, Samuel Ze Mekoulou almost it by two nil for Olympique Biwong Bane but goalkeeper Maupas Atokari made the save.<\/p>\n

At the 72nd minute of the match, a sublime finish from Achile Meyomesse, his second of the match gave Olympique FC of Biwong Bane a two goals lead.<\/p>\n

Despite the second goal, Krimi FC continued fighting and their effort will pay off at the 83rd minute of the match when substitute Ngoumou Ngoumou Fabien reduced the scores with a goal.<\/p>\n

Krimi FC pushed for the equalizer but on the counter attack, Alain Thierry Mbongo Olama provided the assist for Samuel Ze Mekoulou who scored with a header to restore the two goals lead at the 90th minute of the match.<\/p>\n

The victory reopens the group with Olympique FC of Biwong Bane now having 3 points, and Krimi FC stays with 3 points.<\/p>\n

On the next playing day in Pool B coming up on Saturday July 22, 2023, Olympique FC Biwong Bane will take on Pouma FC while Krimi FC will be on standby.<\/p>\n
