ISOHSA midfielder Wilson Ngange Junior claimed emotions almost rendered him speechless after helping his side secure the Southwest Regional championship title on Sunday at the Middle Farms stadium.<\/p>\n
The potential Cameroon international played a key role in ISOHSA’s first-ever League success, three seasons after joining the club.<\/p>\n
A slight niggle meant the box-to-box midfielder had to make do with substitute role in the final after missing both legs of the semi-final. The midfielder came on as a substitute as ISOHSA beat Kumba City 1-0 in their final match to clinch the title.<\/p>\n
After the game Ngange said: ‘Today was amazing, by the fans, the club, the team – everyone was concentrated to get the result.<\/p>\n
‘In that moment you don’t know exactly what you say because the emotion is so high.<\/p>\n
‘To win the Southwest Regional League is amazing, and for the first time it is doubly amazing.<\/p>\n
‘I am so happy, I am so glad to help my team, and I am so proud to play for this team though sad because Joel Etogue is not here to celebrate with us. I dedicate this trophy to him and we will keep fighting for him so in the end we qualify Elite 2.’<\/p>\n
The triumph means the eight-year-old club will travel to Yaounde for the national Interpools where they are pitted in pool A along East, West, Far North and Center Region representative.<\/p>\n
Ngange who played all but three games this season and scored once, providing three assists will be key when ISOHSA play the opening game of the competition on Saturday, July 15.<\/p>\n
