The Uganda National Women’s team , Crested Cranes are set to lock horns with the Twiga Stars of Tanzania in an international friendly.<\/p>\n

The game comes in the course as both sides are in preparations for the CAF Olympics qualifiers.<\/p>\n

This serves as good test to the Crested Cranes camp having been out of action since last year in July.<\/p>\n

On Friday , the team held it’s first training session in Lugogo following the announcement of the provisional squad.<\/p>\n

Tanzania has had a string of friendlies in the past months ,a double against Algeria in the April international break and the recent encounter with the Copper Queens of Zambia in June.<\/p>\n

This fixture will be played on 7th , at Phillip Omondi Stadium , Lugogo. It’s free entrance for all the natives giving room to everyone.<\/p>\n

This captilizes on the growing love and interest the citizens have attached to Women’s football after watching the country participate at WAFCON in Morocco.<\/p>\n

Uganda play Rwanda while Tanzania face Congo Brazzaville in the Olympics qualifiers scheduled to take place 10-18 July.<\/p>\n
