{"id":8279,"date":"2023-06-15T20:01:25","date_gmt":"2023-06-15T20:01:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=8279"},"modified":"2023-06-16T02:41:33","modified_gmt":"2023-06-16T02:41:33","slug":"zambo-anguissas-napoli-hires-new-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/zambo-anguissas-napoli-hires-new-coach\/","title":{"rendered":"Zambo Anguissa&#8217;s Napoli hires new coach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Napoli of Cameroon international Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa have named his former coach, Rudi Garcia as their new trainer after agreeing a three-year deal with the French tactician.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia was unveiled this Thursday, June 15 as replacement for Luciano Sphaletti. The latter left the club at the end of the 2022\/23 season, days after helping them to a first Serie A title in 33 years.<\/p>\n<p>Experienced Garcia gets a chance to return to management barely months after departing Saudi Arabia side Al Nasr. He will reunite with Zambo Anguissa which he worked with at Olympique Marseille.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia returns to Serie A where he worked at Napoli&#8217;s rival AS Roma for over three seasons between 2013-2016.<\/p>\n<p>The 59-year-old former Lille, Marseille, Saint Etienne and Dijon manager will lead Anguissa&#8217;s Napoli in the UEFA Champions League next season, hoping to better their quarter-final run and defend their Serie A title.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia have a great history working with Cameroonian footballers. He guided Aurelien Chedjou&#8217;s Lille to French Ligue 1 triumph in 2013 and most-recently managed Vincent Aboubakar at Al Nasr.<\/p>\n<p>Garcia, who began his career at AS Corbeil-Essonnes in 1994 brings a huge experience in the Napolitans dressing room.<\/p>\n<p>Zambo was key to Napoli&#8217;s success last season under Sphaletti.
