Ndikum Blaise Tenjoh, physical trainer of Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda who managed and coached YOSA against Eding in the relegation playoffs has credited the performance of his players on hard-work and their desire to maintain and keep the legacy of Bobe Yong Francis (Pa Yong) of blessed memory.<\/p>\n
YOSA defeated Eding Sports of Lekie by two goals to zero to maintain their elite One status and sending Eding into the elite two.<\/p>\n
With the absence of Anumewa Franklin who led the team most part of the season, Ndikum Blaise had the daunting task for ensuring that YOSA maintained it’s elite One status.<\/p>\n
His two second half substitutes Embe Franck Eric and Akoh Calistus Anjeh made the difference in the match.<\/p>\n
Speaking to kick442.com after the match, coach Ndikum Blaise disclosed that, it was thanks to hard-work and the desire to leave the team where they met it.<\/p>\n
“We succeeded today because of hard-work and the team spirit that existed amongst the players”<\/p>\n
“Since we played the last match against Astres, we went back to work and started working”, he said.<\/p>\n
He added that “the coaches told the players that they met the team in Elite One and they have the duty of leaving it there. That is why all of us; the administration, staff and players went back to work”.<\/p>\n
Coach Ndikum Blaise who is currently undergoing training for the CAF License A coaching certificate took charge of YOSA last season when Nkabyo Martin left the team. This therefore is not the first time he is having the delicate task of maintaining YOSA in Elite One.<\/p>\n
YOSA will face Coton Sports of Garoua in the cup of Cameroon in the days ahead.<\/p>\n
