{"id":6112,"date":"2023-04-15T08:21:46","date_gmt":"2023-04-15T08:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=6112"},"modified":"2023-04-15T08:21:46","modified_gmt":"2023-04-15T08:21:46","slug":"cas-orders-fecafoot-to-pay-over-200-millions-to-manga-onguene","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/cas-orders-fecafoot-to-pay-over-200-millions-to-manga-onguene\/","title":{"rendered":"CAS orders FECAFOOT to pay over 200 millions to Manga Onguene"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Court of arbitration for Sports (CAS), has ordered the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) to pay over the sum of 229 millions FCFA as compensation to their former employee, Jean Manga Onguene.<\/p>\n<p>The former National technical director of FECAFOOT served the institution for two years, between 2008-2010 before his contract was wrongfully terminated by the institution.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the former Indomitable Lions forward engaged in varied legal battle with the institution and its successive executives.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, April 14, a release from CAS stated FECAFOOT pays the sum of 229 425 000 FCFA plus over two millions ad-ons to Mr Onguene within the shortest possible delay to avoid further sanctions.<\/p>\n<p>The latest twist about the case which has been in court for over a decade leaves the Samuel Eto&#8217;o-led executive with the obligation of payment though they didn&#8217;t cause the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Onguene was a part of the golden generation of Indomitable Lions in the 90s.<\/p>\n<p>He switched to management upon retirement and served as FECAFOOT national technical director for just around two years.
