{"id":6102,"date":"2023-04-15T07:49:14","date_gmt":"2023-04-15T07:49:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=6102"},"modified":"2023-04-15T08:01:56","modified_gmt":"2023-04-15T08:01:56","slug":"cameroons-ndip-akem-promised-to-kill-diego-maradona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/cameroons-ndip-akem-promised-to-kill-diego-maradona\/","title":{"rendered":"Cameroon&#8217;s Ndip Akem promised to kill Diego Maradona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender Victor Ndip Akem has revealed he threatened to kill late Argentina football legend many years before his death.<\/p>\n<p>The retired defender made the revelation in a recent interview, stating his life threatening words directed towards Maradona during their first meeting in the opening game of the 1990 FIFA World Cup made life easier for himself and his defensive colleagues on duty that night at the San Siro.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I said to him&#8230; You are a professional player, I am an amateur player, I don&#8217;t have anything to lose. If you cross our line here, I will kill you.
