In a statement published on Saturday 8 April, Bordeaux denounced racist insults made on social media against their Cameroonian defender Malcom Bokele, who was sent off against Bastia at the end of a stormy match in the 30th round of the Ligue 2.<\/p>\n
The French club said it is; “firmly committed to the fight against racism and all forms of discrimination”. Before adding that they are; “considering all possible steps to ensure that the events of today (Saturday) do not go unpunished”.<\/p>\n
