Former Crested Cranes defender Jean Sseninde has credited CAF for creating a platform for the girls and boys to show their talents on a big stage at the inaugural African Schools championship.<\/p>\n
Currently in South Africa among the few legends that were selected from the continent to grace the ongoing championship inspiring the young generation, Sseninde pointed out this tournament is only the beginning of the building phase of our future super stars.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlaying football during our days at school as African girls wasn’t a priority.”<\/p>\n
\u201cI am so happy that now things are different ,little girls and boys will get to showcase their skills on the continent.<\/p>\n
Sseninde, a celebrated figure on the continent, football administrator that recently started a football club in Uganda to give opportunity to the young girls to make a career out of football.<\/p>\n
During her professional tenure ,she played her football mostly in England for sides like QPR and Crystal Palace.<\/p>\n
