Mali have picked up three points against The Gambia in Match day three of the African Cup of Nations qualifier(AFCON) at the March 26 stadium in Bamako, Mali this Friday, courtesy of goals from Doumbia Kamory and Adana Traor\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The 1-0 lead was kept until deep into added time when Adama Traor\u00e9 converted a penalty to seal a 2-0 win for Mali, following a careless foul in the box.<\/p>\n
Gambia came into this encounter to challenge a side who have been among the best performers and favourites so far to qualify from their group.<\/p>\n
Mali will be hoping to make a thirteenth participation at the continent\u2019s biggest football showpiece in Ivory Coast next year.<\/p>\n
This victory take Mali\u2019s returns to three consecutive wins, eight goals scored and just one conceded.<\/p>\n
The match day four clash has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 28 as Mali will travel to challenge host,the Gambia.<\/p>\n
