Flavien Enzo Boyomo says Friday, 10 March 2023 is a unique day in his life and career as the Cameroon Football Federation released coach Rigobert Song’s Cameroon squad to challenge Namibia with his name included.<\/p>\n
The Albacete Balompie defended was drafted into the Indomitable Lions set-up for the first time on Friday, and will be part of Cameroon’s squad for the Match Day three and four Africa Cup of Nations qualifier games against The Brave Warriors.<\/p>\n
“It’s a special day for me. I have the chance to represent a country very special to me and my family. Happy to represent Cameroon,” Boyomo wrote on Instagram.
\nBoyomo, 21, has worked his way up the football ladder, turning out in non-league with Toulouse and Black Burn 18s before moving to Albacete Balompie.<\/p>\n
The man who made over 50 appearances with Black Burn youth teams but failed to break into the senior team has become a major player at his Spanish Club, featured in 28 of their 30 games this season in the second tier championship.<\/p>\n
