Wydad Casablanca striker Didier Lamkel Ze says he is considering a switch in his allegiance from Cameroon to another country.<\/p>\n
The EFBC product plying his trade in Morocco these days made the revelation during an interview on Talent D’Afrique on Canal+ last week.<\/p>\n
According to our findings, Ze has discussed the possibility of a switch to Gabon and Togolese football people while his entourage is currently working on the possibilities with FIFA.<\/p>\n
Ze, 26, was born and grew up in Cameroon for whom he won one cap in November 2019 against Cape Verde Island in an AFCON qualifier game.<\/p>\n
The former FC Metz and Royal Antwerp forward hasn’t played for his country of origin since then despite being named in a number of provisional squads for different commitments.<\/p>\n
Ze represented Cameroon at Under 17, Under 20 and Under 23 levels, winning as many caps.<\/p>\n
The native of Bertoua wasn’t included in the latest Cameroon senior squad to face Namibia at home and away.<\/p>\n
After spells on loan at FC DAC 1904 Dunajsk\u00e1 Streda, Khimki and FC Metz, Ze is finally getting a chance to lead the line for Wydad.<\/p>\n
It remains to be seen if the player will succeed to complete the switch and represent another nation.<\/p>\n
