However, the Uruguayans two goals send them nowhere due to South Korea\u2019s shocking 2-1 win over Portugal.<\/p>\n
The two-goal lead left them vulnerable to the possibility of a South Korea winner, yet Diego Alonso took off Suarez and De Arraescata and they just seemed to settle for 2-0. They\u2019re showing some urgency now, but it\u2019s as if they didn\u2019t have a plan for what would happen if they needed a third.<\/p>\n
It looked like it would be enough for Uruguay to qualify for the last 16 until Hwang Hee-chan netted a 91st-minute winner to send South Korea through, leaving Luis Suarez to end the tournament in tears.<\/p>\n
Both Ghana and Uruguay have crashed out of the 2022 World Cup.<\/p>\n
Portugal topped the group with six points and they will fave the runners-up from Group G.<\/p>\n
