{"id":3895,"date":"2023-02-25T03:50:18","date_gmt":"2023-02-25T03:50:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=3895"},"modified":"2023-02-25T03:51:35","modified_gmt":"2023-02-25T03:51:35","slug":"2023-mount-cameroon-race-of-hope-moroccos-bourhim-bouzyry-targets-podium-finish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/2023-mount-cameroon-race-of-hope-moroccos-bourhim-bouzyry-targets-podium-finish\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 Mount Cameroon Race of Hope : Morocco&#8217;s Bourhim Bouzyry targets podium finish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Moroccan athlete Bourhim El Bouzyry says he wants to finish in the top three of the 2023 Mount Cameroon race of Hope scheduled this Saturday in Buea.<\/p>\n<p>Bourhim is among 28 foreign athletes to compete in this year&#8217;s edition of the endurance event this Saturday at the Molyko Omnisport stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the battle to win 10 millions FCFA, Bourhim spoke about his goal in the competition with the rest of the 115 males athletes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Its the first time I am participating in this race. I know it&#8217;s going to be tough but by God&#8217;s grace I wish to finish in the top three tomorrow (Saturday). Good luck to all the participants,&#8221; Bourhim is quoted by AfriqueSports.com.<\/p>\n<p>Noted for his multiple exploits in recent years, Bourhim could be a dark house in this 28th of the race, being one of two Moroccans in it.<\/p>\n<p>He won 2022 Moneteau International semi Marathon in France and the 2020 Ooredoo Marathon in Qatar is no push over.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, foreign athletes have thrived at the event, though that has not happened in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>Kenya with 14 and France six are the countries with the highest number of athletes after hosts Cameroon.
