Gabriel Zabo\u2019s squad ahead of the 2023 FIFA World Cup playoffs in New Zealand is now almost complete but with the exception of Toulouse FC\u2019s Claudia Dabda.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s still no hint on why the midfielder has not joined the rest of her teammates currently camping in Auckland, New
\nZealand.<\/p>\n
Dabda, 21, moved to France this January to join the French women\u2019s second tier club on a six months deal and then summoned by Gabriel Zabo to join the National team for the task ahead.<\/p>\n
Coach Zabo has been training with the local inclusions in the squad for a while. The likes of team captain, Gabriel Aboudi Onguene, Estelle Johnson, Ajara Njoya and a host of other internationals only just joined the team recently as seen at training this morning.<\/p>\n
A 23-woman squad was chosen to defend the colours of the nation at the playoffs. Just last week, PSG \u2018s Nina Ngueleu was replaced with Gladys Ewodo.<\/p>\n
However, the lone absentee is expected to join the rest in camp in the days ahead as they gear up for the tough before them, against a Thailand side who too are already camping in New Zealand.<\/p>\n
The Indomitable Lionesses will face Thailand in the Playoffs this Saturday, February 18, to campaign for one of the three available tickets to the 2023 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n
Unconfirmed reports states, the Indomitable Lionesses may play a friendly game against New Zealand ahead of Saturday\u2019s clash.<\/p>\n
Should Cameroon beat Thailand, they will face Portugal in the next round of qualifiers which will determine whether or not they will make it to the FIFA World Cup competition scheduled for July and August this year.<\/p>\n
