10-woman Ngadeu FFA won their first point of the Guinness Super League (GSL) last Sunday following a 1-1 draw against defending champions Awa.<\/p>\n

Goals from Ngadeu’s Sandra Aboh and Guyliane Tchadeu of Awa provided the major highlights of the day at the Olembe Annex stadium.<\/p>\n

Ngadeu FFA entered the confidence hoping to draw inspiration from the performance against Ca\u00efman and had things go as planned from the kick-off.<\/p>\n

20-year-old Aboh scored just two minutes into the contest to put coach Vladimir Ngadeu’s side ahead for the first time this season.<\/p>\n

The visitors had the moment and were simply outstanding in most of the 50-50 efforts but poor finishing denied them the second on a number of occasions.<\/p>\n

As it was the case in the midweek defeat to Caiman in Douala, Ngadeu were made to pay after Tchadeu received a through ball around the box with just keeper July Ndong to beat.<\/p>\n

The forward made the most of the chance, scoring the equalizer at the 19th minute.<\/p>\n

Chances were at a premium for the rest of the half as Hassan Balla’s Awa improved, matching the strength of the confident visitors.<\/p>\n

Awa returned for the second segment with more purpose and could have scored with a little better finesse in the final third.<\/p>\n

Roukahyatou Montah and Annie Felicien Enganemben were guilty of squandering gilt-edged opportunities for Awa in the second-half just like Ngadeu’s Michelle Leodia.<\/p>\n

The major highlights of the barren second 45 minutes was the sending off of Henriette Immi which left Ngadeu with just ten players for the final 17 minutes.<\/p>\n

There was greater dissappointing in the camp of the hosts when Juni Limunga whistled for the final time in the afternoon while the 2022 Adamawa region champions celebrated their first point in the big time though it could have been more.<\/p>\n
