Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has bid farewell to Accra Hearts of Oak, marking the end of his of his two-year stint with the Ghanaian giants.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt has absolutely been an incredibly wonderful and beautiful journey with Accra Hearts of Oak.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt would be impossible for me to express in this text all the feelings that I have been experiencing over the last weeks but to sum it up, I would like to say I am the happiest player in the world having been a part of this unique club for the last three seasons.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have reflected on a lot and I know that the time has come for a new cycle and challenge in my career. My time as an Oak family player has just ended.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have feelings of colossal gratitude for this club. This is to say thank you. It\u2019s been an honour playing for this great club.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you infinitely to the Board Chairman of the Club Togbe Afede XIV, and the Board Members for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this extraordinary family.<\/p>\n

The youngster joined Accra Hearts of Oak from Madina-based Republicans in 2020 and became one of their key members, playing a major role in their FA Cup title wins as well as the Ghana Premier League triumph two seasons ago.<\/p>\n
On 3 January 2023, he officially joined Swiss side Z\u00fcrich for an undisclosed fee, signing a contract until June 2026 with the club. He is expected to leave Ghana in the coming days to his new club.<\/p>\n
