{"id":3155,"date":"2023-02-06T16:31:49","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T16:31:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/?p=3155"},"modified":"2023-02-06T19:25:30","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T19:25:30","slug":"3155-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kick442.com\/fr\/3155-2\/","title":{"rendered":"President Paul Biya appoint Joseph Bell Antoine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>African football icon Joseph Antoine Bell has been appointed board chair of the steering committee of the newly-created Cameroon National Office of Infrastructures and Sports Equipments (ONIES).<\/p>\n<p>The president of the Republic issued the release appointing Bell this Monday with instructions for work to begin immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Bell, 68, is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeeper Cameroon has ever produced.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main players in the Lions den in the 80s and 90s Bell excelled on the pitch and even off it.<\/p>\n<p>He won 70 caps for Cameroon, featuring at multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournament and was part of the 1990 FIFA World Cup squad.<\/p>\n<p>At club level, he played Africa Sports of Abidjan, Union Sportive of Douala, Saint Etienne and Olympique Marseille in France and Egyptian side Arab Contractors among others.<\/p>\n<p>Since his retirement from professional football in 1994, he has occupied a number of top jobs in the game, though not in recent times.<\/p>\n<p>In the same development, Mr Ewane Felix named pioneer administrator meanwhile Mme Ekombe Wanki Pascaline named pioneer deputy Administrator of the institution.<\/p>\n<p>Their appointments come just in time.
